At the beginning of each year, the peace of the MU continent is disturbed by a strange and mysterious appearance... In veils of red and gold light, strange creatures, called Pouch of Blessing, appear from unknown lands, carrying with them the echo of curses from years past.

These magical pouches are said to be the corrupted form of New Year's gifts - unspoken thoughts, unfulfilled desires and energies gathered around the altar of time. Careless travelers are often taken by surprise by these deceptively harmless creatures, who attack unexpectedly in populated areas.

But all is not lost...

Those brave enough to face these entities will have the chance to defeat them and collect the treasure they carry - the New Year Pouch. Inside these blessed bags, you can find substantial amounts of Zen, Jewel, and sometimes even rare items meant to bring good luck in the new year.

Each victory against them is not only a reward, but a step towards a new and stronger beginning. It is said that those who open the first bag at dawn will have a lucky and successful year.
